The following projects have been implemented by VAL for the enhancement of educational standards of children in Lanjigarh.

Setting up of DAV Vedanta International School - premier English medium school with smart classes, laboratories and other best in class facilities. Nurturing kids through childcare centers in the region has benefitted a lot to the local children. Coaching classes are being given to underprivileged students from Community in government and Govt. aided schools where currently 17 teachers in seven schools are teaching English, Mathematics and Science to over 1000 (VIII, IX and Xth) students. To instill scientific temperament in lab scarce govt. schools, Science kits have also been given to ensure regular experiment classes.

Taking forward its commitment to the educational advancement of children, Vedanta Foundation has been instrumental in establishing the Child Care Centre which provides pre-schooling facilities to children in the age group of 2.5 years to 5 years. Presently, 38 Child Care Centres cater to 1250 children.

In an effort to promote achievers in the educational sphere, VAL provides financial assistance to meritorious students. Vedanta Gyanashree Award is presented to the District toppers of ICSE, CBSE and Orissa Board Examinations. Cash Award and Certificates are also presented to five students under Vedanta Scholarship who secure more than 90% in the exams.
