I joined the Vedanta Group in June 2002 as Management Trainee at the CEO's office in Chennai and then have worked in various profiles in Projects at Balco and Vedanta Limited (VL) in Jharsuguda and also in Management Assurance Function at Corporate Office, Bombay. I am currently working as Manager, Commercial for VL. I am a Textile Engineer by qualification having passed from V.JT.I., Mumbai and also have completed my MBA with Finance as specialization from K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research.
I was the youngest member of the Project team from Balco to attend the first design liaison meeting with Project technology partner, GAMI in China. To me, Vedanta is one of the fastest growing companies and the opportunities for us all are endless. One of the best things I have experienced working in this Group is it empowers employees at all levels to take decisions. |
